I have visited Paris twice already. Once in 2014 and the second time on my birthday last year, 2019. I can’t get over Paris, I think there is so much to visit and to see. Walking around the beautiful streets, seeing the people all fashionable, it charges me with a lot of good energy, enrich me with the vibe and makes me feel like I am in a movie.
It wasn’t planned as it was a surprise for my birthday from my dearest friend Andrei. And it was magical, we walk around Champs-Élysées, visit Louvre Museum, which first time it didn’t impress me that much. But this time it was different, this time seems bigger, more beautiful in its architectural style. I also see Notre Dame Cathedral, after the fire in April the same year. I will have to say I was lucky I have seen it last time, it was so sad to see this beautiful monument considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture, in this stage. I will always see Notre Dame as Victor Hugo described it in his novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
This time I was more fascinated by the people, that why you will see a lot of portraits in my photos which I hope you will enjoy. I love how each one of us is so different, act different in our own unique way. Everyone has a story behind and I love to look at the pictures and imagine what they are thinking in that precious moment that I captured. It is so fascinating!
Love,
Carmen
