In the past few days I am reading a lot about unjustified actions of all of us. Black man killed by the policeman in the USA, and a guy in Romania who instigated men to rape young girls. What is the matter with this world?! Why all the hate?! We are the same, no matter the gender, the color, the ethnicity… we are humans and we have to be kind.
Can anyone tell me why women have to be mean with other women?! Why if we have a short skirt means that we ask for it?! Do we ask to be rape?! Absolutely NOT!!! Women supposed to be kind, to support and stand up for each other. So why all the hate? Why when another “sister” has a failure some of us are happy that she suffer?! We have a voice to use it to defend us, not against us. We all have feelings no matter what we do, or what decisions we make.
The internet indeed is where you can express your free opinion, but why a guy who wanted to get rich on YouTube gets to instigate others to rape 15-16 years girls just because they dress summary ?! He has 849k subscribers, most of them young kids. Kids who will form their minds, their own opinions and this will be what they will think is ok to do: to rape girls/women.
You cannot instigate to hate and violence and when you see that the entire social media react to your video that even though you “don’t think that anymore”, come with the lamest excuses that it was “just a joke”. Seriously?! It is 2020, how long do we need to change something?! To be more polite with each other, to respect one and other. When did kindness got out of fashion?! And honestly why do we women have to fully dress up so we won’t instigate a man?! He should be the one to hold his needs and “cravings” inside!
I love my body and anytime I want to reveal some parts I will do it artistically, I will pride myself with it, because I am #NotAskingForIt.
So let’s start to be kind with each other, respect one and another, no matter the gender, no matter the color skin, no matter the ethnicity, because at the end of the day we are humans, with the same rights. We are equals, we are the same, with feelings and fears that we live with.
Be Kind, Be Good, Be Beautiful
Love,
Carmen
