One year ago, I visited Lisbon. I found the photos and I thought to write my impression about this amazing city.
This city break was a gift from my family and friends on my 30th birthday, so yeah I had the best present ever as I love to travel. On 27th of January, after my sister gave birth to my second beautiful niece, I flew to Lisbon. I felt in love with this city, which has art everywhere you go. From the little streets, where only two people can go, to the big and crowded streets with all the fashion designer stores, this city has it all.
From the airport, me and my friend took the subway which looks just like the one in Paris. The station was empty on a Sunday morning, the same were the streets to the hotel and we were wondering were all the people went?! :D We found out later how their Sundays look like, a casual and cosy day.
We decided to walk to the town centre cause the weather was so beautiful. I saw people all tucked up with scarves and gloves, and I thought I was the crazy lady in a t-shirt and a jumper. We have visited the Castle of S. Jorge which I definately recommend it because you can see the view of the city... and wooow, what a view. We have also seen the peackocks with their beautiful feathers.
I really enjoyed Pastel de Bacalhau from Casa Portuguesa which was amazing, is made of some sort of fish with salt in a type of pastry, delicious... and I am not easily impressed :D
Three days are not enough to see this beautiful city and I definitely want to go again, but till next time hope you will enjoy my photos :)
